Shakespeare’s Globe Shop is in London, England and a premier destination for everything Shakespeare in the UK. The Globe Shop sits alongside the Shakespeare’s Globe Theatre and is open to the public Monday through Sunday, 10am- 5pm.
Do I have to buy a ticket to visit the Globe Shop?
No, you do not need to have a ticket to a show or a tour to visit the shop. When the gates are open the shop is accessible directly from the bankside and via our main entrance on New Globe Walk, SE1 9DT, when the gates are closed, the shop can be accessed via the New Globe Walk entrance only. Shakespeare’s Globe Shop is open to anyone who wishes to visit, we can’t wait to see you!
Does the shop sell Shakespeare gifts?
The Globe Shop sells a range of gifts including, clothing, homeware, books, posters and prints all inspired by Shakespeare and his plays. Over 80% of our Shakespeare merchandise is designed in house and is exclusive to Shakespeare’s Globe Shop. Every effort is made to ensure that all merchandise sold in store is produced with a minimal carbon footprint, by using sustainable sourcing and offering designs from small scale and local vendors.
Does the shop sell Shakespeare’s plays?
We stock numerous editions of Shakespeare’s plays. Whether you’re looking for an in-depth guide to the plays like those published by Oxford, Cambridge or Arden, or you’re looking for a modern interpretation like a manga or graphic novel, Shakespeare’s Globe Shop stocks a comprehensive catalogue of books for readers young and old. If you’re looking for a gift book, we carry beautiful leatherbound copies of Shakespeare’s Complete Works and hardback Collector’s Library copies of Shakespeare’s individual plays with gold edged paper. We also have a selection of Folio editions of Shakespeare’s plays, hardback, with text true to the original publications.
Does the shop sell Shakespeare books for children?
We have a large selection of books which are written and illustrated to appeal to young readers. Whether it is a retelling of one of Shakespeare’s iconic plays, or a book intended to make you laugh, the Globe Shop has books written to get kids excited about reading. Our books for young readers are available online and in store and we have books available in both paperback and hardback.

Shakespeare’s Globe Shop operates online too! Visit us online to order all your favourites found in store, direct to your door. As well as stocking all the same products as the shop, Shakespeare’s Globe online shop has a selection of print to order gifts. Can I click and collect?
We offer click and collect here at Shakespeare’s Globe Shop. Simply place your order with the Globe Shop online and collect it in store when you’re next in. Take all the time you need to make up your mind before checkout while still getting the in-store experience when you collect your goodies!
Do I have to pay for click and collect?
No, we won’t charge you to click and collect your items with us, we’re happy that you’re choosing to shop both online and in store with us. We know it can be hard to make up your mind with all the great gifts we have to offer and would love for you to take your time choosing the perfect items online, without having to worry that you won’t be able to find them in store when you come in.
Does the shop sell products make in the UK?
Shakespeare’s Globe Shop offers a range of products that are designed and produced in the United Kingdom. As many of our products are designed in house, we can proudly say that they are designed right here in London! We decided that it wasn’t good enough to just design our gifts in the UK, we wanted to make sure that they are made in the UK too. From our beautiful china mugs made in Staffordshire, to our stylish costume jewellery made in Kent, we want to ensure that we shop local when we look for manufacturers and we hope you will too.
Does the shop sell graphic t-shirts in all their designs in all sizes?
We offer a range of designs in our standard fit cotton t-shirts and sweatshirts, from small to double extra-large. We also offer select designs in fitted cotton t-shirts with sizes ranging from small to extra-large. Our print to order t-shirt designs are available in a standard fit, 100% organic cotton and in sizes small through to double extra-large.
Is all the clothing made from cotton?
All our clothing available is made using 100% cotton, with our print to order graphic t-shirts being produced using 100% organic cotton. Our socks are knit using cotton as well, keeping your feet cool and comfortable.
Does the shop sell Shakespeare inspired clothing for children?
We have a range of print to order t-shirts available for children, available online online. Our children's print to order t-shirts are made from 100% organic cotton and feature fun graphics and memorable quotes.
