Shakespeare's Globe Spiced Mead 20cl
A Metbeglin is a spiced version of a traditional mead. The word comes from the Welsh 'meddyglyn', meaning 'medicinal liquor' as it was originally revered for it supposed health benefits and enjoyed throughout medieval Europe.
Metbeglin is mentioned in Act 5 of Love's Labour's Lost.
We love this lightly spiced mead. It's great served at room temperature, gently heated as a winter warmer, and chilled for a freshing summer tipple.
