Made from sturdy beech wood with a gold painted handle and silver painted blade, this extra large sword is made using traditional methods in the forest from which the wood was cut. The blade is balanced thanks to the ball at the end of the handle, and it is sized as a traditional bi-hand sword that would have been used by a knight on horseback.

All our wooden toys are made from sustainable wood grown in a managed forest in Bavaria. The family firm that makes them has had their workshops in the forest for three generations and each toy is hand crafted using traditional techniques and decorated with harmless dyes.
