This is a lockdown project inspired by a chance remark. I was invited by an old school chum for drinks on the terrace of his house near the Oval. As the fizz flowed he said to his husband, "Peter has a wonderful story about Roald Dahl - in fact he has a fund of stories." Then he turned to me and said, "You should write them down."
Peter Bourke has had a long and successful career on stage and screen. He is known for his work at the Royal Shakespeare Company, the National Theatre and London's West End. He is currently starring as Oberon in the 2021 production of A Midsummer Night's Dream at Shakespeare's Globe.
