Our product designer, Meghan Cole has been designing products for Shakespeare’s Globe Shop for over 20 years. Taking inspiration from the plays of the season, Meghan interprets Shakespeare’s masterpieces into modern, eye-catching graphics that we sell printed on t-shirts, tote bags, mugs, and so much more. Our exclusive Shakespeare inspired designs are only available in store and online and printed on high-quality merchandise.
We offer a range of products in store and a larger range of graphic print products online, which include our print to order gifts. By offering a larger print to order gift range we cut down on the physical stock that we hold and continue to work towards being more environmentally sustainable by reducing our waste.
Why we offer what the designs we do?
We offer ranges of exclusive gifts from Shakespeare’s most recognised works, such as Macbeth and As You Like It throughout the year. Every year we offer a selection of new ranges to accompany the plays of the season that are available for a limited time. Drawing on Shakespeare’s plays as inspiration, Meghan is able to transform the written word into in-your-face imagery that’s fun for all ages. We offer both gifting for adults and for children and continue to expand our gift ranges through our print to order service.

Making Shakespeare’s words accessible to all
By pulling out some of Shakespeare’s most iconic quotes, and some that we just love ourselves, Shakespeare’s Globe Shop is able to offer a range of gifts that make Shakespeare approachable and fun. Incorporating real bloody hand prints and hand drawn texts and graphics, Meghan makes you want to read Shakespeare’s words and allows you to interpret them in new ways. These are not the designs of olden days; our designs bring Shakespeare into the world we live in today. Print to order gifts
We sell a range of print to order aprons, cushion covers, t-shirts, tote bags, pencil cases and tea towels with our exclusive graphic prints. These items are not all available in store so we encourage you to get in touch with us so that we can direct you to what you’re looking for. We offer a larger range of print to order gifts so that we can reduce our physical stock holding and reduce our waste production. Our print to order products are produced in Wales and sent direct to customers all over the world.
Do you sell products that aren’t exclusive to The Globe?
We do sell a smaller selection of products that are not exclusive to us. These items have been carefully chosen by us to accompany our own exclusive ranges so that we can offer you the best selection of Shakespeare gifts in one place.
We work with local designers and artists who produce beautiful jewellery and timeless accessories that are inspired by Shakespeare’s works. From feather brooches inscribed with Shakespeare’s words and a replica of a real ring found at the Rose Theatre, to Herculite plaster skulls in a variety of sizes, all our non-exclusive gifts hold a special place in our heart and we hope will in yours too.
Our range of books are carefully chosen to appeal to readers of all levels and present Shakespeare’s works in beautifully created traditional reprintings and exciting and inspired retellings. From new to old, and new made to look old, we have the perfect books to gift and books you’ll want to read over and over again.
