Playhouse Star (damaged)
A damaged star from the ceiling of the Sam Wanamaker Playhouse.
The star was made onsite at the Globe by our props team. It is made from plaster that has been painted and then covered in gold leaf. It has a bolt embedded in the back which was used to attached the star to the Playhouse ceiling.
The star does have damage to the tips and one tip has been broken off (see pictures).
The star measures c 140 mm wide and c. 25mm deep (without the bolt). The bolt measures 60mm.
This original Playhouse star comes with a certificate of authenticity.
