Review:

I’ve read many versions of “Macbeth," as it’s in the top 3 of my favourite Shakespeare plays. At first, I wasn’t sure it would work, adapted into a graphic novel but, this book seamlessly blends the Shakespearean tragedy with captivating visuals. The artwork really captures the play's dark mood which, gave me a new connection to the characters. Seriously my imagination ran wild & at points I felt as though I had been drawn into the book and experiencing the story as a character observing as it enfolded. I won’t go into the full recap of “Macbeth” because if you’ve read it before, you’ll want to read this version for a different perspective. But if you’ve never read the play, read this book! It’s an immersive experience (second to visiting the Globe & seeing it in person).
